Voted early Friday. Indeed, my stress levels were getting too high by the end of the first hour of this debate. We turned it off and are watching a dumb movie now.

For many, this is conformation. However, if you are undecided as many have been, this Debate opens the questions that many of us have been wondering line per line the difference between the two beyond M4A.

Most polls show it in the single digits, nationally and in state polls. That's not going to make up 20-30 point deficits.

It doesn't open any questions to anyone who has been paying attention through the last 10 debates or during the campaign season. To not know where they stand on the issues by now, one would have to be intentionally ignorant or politically disinterested.

Good substance, much better w/o live audience/applause lines. They are both being pretty respectful - you can tell there's no personal animosity, and they are keeping it to the issues. I would honestly be happy to have either of these men as president. Policy-wise I'm closer to Bernie, though not quite as far to the left as he is. OTOH Biden seems a bit more presidential and his answers are a little more substantive.

I was about to say they also were focusing on issues instead of polls and electability, but they just went there. Ugh. It's bad enough the pundits yap about electability speculations all day long. I can't stand when they make the candidates play pundit instead of discussing issues.

And California had a large number of early voters, before Joe Biden turned the corner.

There will be exit polling in all 4 states on Tuesday. And I expect Biden to at least equal Bernie in the Latino vote.
