The Democratic race is over. Voters have picked Joe Biden (Richard Wolffe)

From The Guardian:

There is no reason for Sanders to stay in this race, no matter how fervent his fans. It’s Biden who will unify us

This is how a Sanders administration would be. Stubbornly ignoring facts, incapable of accepting political reality. Rushing toward failure rather than working together with others toward success. Trudging onward in a no-hope situation, pursuing a lost cause no matter what the cost, no matter how much damage it causes, no matter how much it weakens our party, and giving false-hope to donors and gladly accepting their donations under false pretenses.

one of an administration resembling the current one, with different aims and priorities, but just as stubborn.

From the article:

Bernie’s advisers say Biden hasn’t done enough to unify the party, or generate voter enthusiasm.

This is not a position supported by the primary results. Biden has won in the south and the north; the east coast and the north-west. When you win Florida by more than 60% of the vote, you’ve pretty much unified the party. When you drive record turnout in the middle of a pandemic – which is frankly a reckless situation from a public health perspective – then you have reasonably generated voter enthusiasm.

By any measure, Biden can feel confident in turning towards the general election and, more importantly, beyond that: to the historic challenge of pulling this country, and the rest of the world, out of a pandemic and global recession.

If he truly cares about the country I believe he should stop his campaign and ask all his supporters to unify with the party and vote drumpf out of office by electing Joe Biden. It's the right thing to do, especially in this time of severe disruption escalated on purpose by drumpf for his own personal profit.
