Biden will need a VP that can do the heavy lifting of drafting new legislation, budgets, policies

Biden will be walking into a shit show after Trump. God only knows just how fucked the world will be when he assumes the office. If this crisis ended today, it would take a year or more to get us back to normal.

We have to get out of the frame of mind that once we elect Biden, it will be Obama's world all over again. No, friends, the world will be in a much worse place than when Obama took over in 2008. Much worse.

Biden needs a real partner to help him through this mess. Biden needs the best policy maker in the Democratic party, and that Democrat is Elizabeth Warren bar none.

My fear is that the moderates will pull Biden to the center and have him focused on the budget which would be a huge fucking mistake. He needs a Progressive near him to pull him towards the bold changes that will be needed to get this country back on its feet.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Jim Clyburns heartfelt endorsement was seismic, typically endorsements don't carry as much weight in the grand scheme of elections, something unprecedented happened after Clyburn's endorsement that will be used in future studies.

As much as I appreciate senator Warren for the work she does, she has a BIG negative, it was her inability to gain traction with black voters, particularly black women voters.

There's an undeniable truth, it's that the "heart & soul" of the democratic party is it's black women voters, no other democratic voter constituency is more reliable. It would seem to me that by choosing senator Warren, Biden could risk alienating black voters, who without them he would have been written off had it not been for an endorsement for the ages.

I don't mean to suggest that Biden simply choose a black woman, I mean that he be very deliberate looking over the best qualified candidates to choose from, but to keep in mind that to reach the WH he can't get there without the Heart & Soul taking him there.

This virus is causing a global economic disruption and massive displacement. The world that we knew five months ago is gone. Everything has changed. Things that we have taken for granted may no longer be there. For example, our healthcare work force may be overwhelmed, and that will cause cascading health issues. Emergency services for other maladies may be unavailable.

Our educational system may be in chaos as the normal education matriculation has been disrupted. Entire industries may go under. There is already massive unemployment which then means massive defaults on loans.

So, i need you to understand that the old politics are gone. We are in a crazy new world, and the U.S. budget is the very last thing that we need to be worried about. The very last thing.
