He had a lot of face time with senators - but likely not sanders. There really isn't much for them to talk about, and besides, bernie has really not been in washington at all for months.

So yeah, a lot of senators could have it. And considering their ages, it will take a toll. But paul didn't infect bernie.

The fact is it's possible and both of our remaining candidates are in a high risk group. Joe hasn't been seen in public since Tuesday but that's probably just to provide some measure of self protection. I think it's unlikely that he's been infected and hope they both remain well.

And since he's always self-exiled himself from the work of the senate, he's only needed to break or avoid a tie. It's reasonable, and even sensible, to go home. He may also plan to be reborn after disappearing for a time. He did that after losing in 2016.
