Wonder where Joe is? He's involved in a MASSIVE, unprecedented operation

to completely change his campaign strategy. All the rallies, phone banks, fundraisers, and other in- person events have been halted by the Coronavirus. He and his whole campaign team are trying to figure out how to conduct a winning campaign in this brand new reality.

Here is what his website still looks like. All of this has been blown away by a virus.

They are all unable to have precinct walks, rallies, or phone banks.

He could however get people to sign up for lists of people to call from home, and do more with social networking. There's direct mail, TV and radio ad buys, and earned media/interviews too.

I am involved in one state and one Congressional candidate's race. A planned town hall has been canceled. I will not be walking my precinct or my community. I have stopped placing signs.

The smart candidates are having telephone town halls and conference calls. But that only attracts those who are faithful already. I think they need to save their money for radio and television ads. Billboards would be useful, too.

Citizens will soon be stretched very thin and those with compassion will be torn between the needs of charities, political campaigns and basic necessities of life.

This is another horrific effect of right-wing governments: they strip away support for poor and developing nations, causing charities to be stretched until they're broken not to mention starving our own crucial government functions like healthcare.

And socialism has proven not to be the magic solution you seek. Italy has socialized medicine and some of the best medical care in Europe. But it couldn't magically produce twice as many hospital beds or ICU units or doctors or nurses.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders raised a massive sum in February -- more than $47 million, according to his campaign's filing Friday with the Federal Election Commission.

And he spent nearly as much: Burning through $45 million -- or more than three times the $13.1 million spent by Biden's camp in February

It Boggles my freaking mind!

What's To "ASSESS"?..

Despite the heavy spending, Sanders entered March with a substantial financial cushion of nearly $18.7 million in leftover cash, his filings show.

Sanders said this week he still was assessing the state of his campaign after the string of Biden victories had effectively closed his path to the Democratic presidential nomination.

Thank you for the article, George.. somebody had to do a write on this phenomenal difference in the cash flow.. and who WON sometimes with spending No Money!

Just like BS: All talk, only platitudes but no specifics and nothing concrete that could be realistically implemented.
Respectfully, you need to get out of your bubble where only BS is the messiah with all the answers and where every deviation of his gospel is the same old and no progress. Where is your regard for the millions that depend on the Dems saving Obamacare? That's one of those stark contrasts you apparently cannot see.

His campaign could be doing the re-tooling at the same time that he records some brief comments to broadcast every day. Even if it's not a formal press conference, but just a home video from his desk or living room couch, it'd give a nice homey feel, and would help provide a necessary counter to what's dominating the news now. Carpe diem!

He can't just go into a TV or radio station or a newspaper, and demand coverage. That's not how it works. Producers and editors decide who gets coverage. No one else.

If you're not hearing about Biden, it's not because he doesn't want to be heard. It's because the media has chosen not to hear him. So take it up with them, rather than blaming Biden (or any other Democrat) for things they have zero control over.
