BS is wasting as much time thinking about his campaign as drump did on COVID19.

Delays that put us in more danger than necessary. Enough ego driven destruction FFS.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Wasn't that why he was testy with CNN's Manu Raju, disappeared to Vermont, and failed to vote in the Senate yesterday?

Perhaps he was just feeling Berned-out? I know I am!

This is all a campaign stunt. He doesn't have the authority. I guess I'd compare it to fantasy role-playing... dungeons and dragons, with Bernie playing the role of "game master" with a handful of multi sided dice.

Meanwhile, in the real world... Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and others have spent the weekend trying to hammer out a deal with McCarthy and McConnell. Instead of being in DC, he's up in Vermont trying concoct his OWN deal. It's important to remember that he's not our party's Minority Leader. He has no position of authority to come up with such a deal.

his recent heart attack and undoubtedly residual poor ventricular function. Anyone else, we'd demand he stay at home. Now, obviously, that does bring to question how physically fit he is for the Presidency, but for his own well-being, I understand.

Frustration aside, I don't want harm to come to him period and especially while he still votes with Democrats in the Senate. Just sayin.

Is asking for remote voting just during the crisis.

Mitch had refused because it would affect the reputation of the Senate. As if he single handedly has not done that for 12 years now. Neither the Senate or Supreme Court has any reputation left starting with the Bush/ Gore decision, unlimited money in Politics. They are a joke.

that are there for a reason. It is disgraceful that Congress has not enacted distance voting procedures.

I most certainly do NOT support the reckless suggestions made by at least one earlier--
that he should just "suit up" in PPE and be there. No, I, my sister and my colleagues need that PPE--as do the HCWs in Vermont. Next week when I return full time I will throttle anybody saying such things. There are now 8 doctors and three ER nurses at Emory-associated hospitals in the Atlanta area confirmed and hospitalized with COVID-19 (one on a ventilator) while my ER nurse sister and other colleagues continue to reuse PPE. As am I. I will gladly tell anyone who is suggesting diverting MORE to those whose risks make it absolutely untenable to be out, period--PPE or no, to go straight to hell.

There are CDC guidelines for a reason. I don't support Sanders, but neither do I want him to put himself or others at risk.

There should be emergency legislation passed to allow COngress a short term secure means of voting and participating offsite

he is avoiding the inevitable. But, again, there is no one with BS' health risk factors that I would not demand stay home. Yes, that says a lot about his unfitness to continue his campaign. But, I don't want him putting his life at risk to try to prove otherwise.

And, I want Biden to take every precaution he can, as frustrated as I am that his message is getting buried.

get on to the business of defeating trump.

Nancy Pelosi could endorse Biden.

Chuck Schumer could endorse Biden.

The DNC could begin fundraising for Biden.

All these things could happen TODAY.

Instead they're waiting while Sanders sulks in Vermont, "assessing".

He can show up in a Biosafety Tyvek coveralls over his regular suit with mask, eyeglasses and gloves. Then at his desk, he can remove the gear and start working. Senate benches are already 6' apart. Then, while leaving, he can get dressed in the gear again and depart to his mansion.

We are in an entirely new environment. We may not even have an in-person convention. Biden can go ahead now and show leadership as can supporters.

If people are unable to seize this moment it bodes poorly for November

The fact is we have what we need to advance now so let' s focus on that now and not Sander

to decompress and think about the consequences of not voting. He certainly shouldn't try to hold the Democratic Party hostage in an attempt to influence the platform as he did 4 years ago.

Furthermore, if the goal is to convince Biden that he should include more progressive agenda in his campaign and administration I believe Elizabeth Warren is better equipped to do that.
