Just walk away.

Please Senator Sanders, walk away with dignity and grace. You have contributed much over the years while serving as an establishment member of the Independent Party. You have proudly served as Mayor of VT. Your first vote was for yourself when you were of age to vote...40.

You have served many years in Congress and a long time Junior Senator of the great State of Vermont. You have now run twice for President. I am so very sorry, you have lost both. You and all of us know it is time to walk away. Trust me, we will do everything we can to push through our Democratic platform that you vigorously and proudly support. The one we have held dear forever and you totally support.

I hold you to your word: Not Me, Us. I know you understand the crisis situation we are in. Do what is best for this country and stand down. Your voice is still strong as a Senator. Just see what Senator Warren has been saying.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Though I find arguments to Bernie supporters' rationality to be fruitless and wasted energy. The Sanders base is something that needs to be examined by sociologists and unworthy of our time and energy now... That is a lost demographic.

I am much more curious as to why Biden is not asking for my support.

Where is he? This seems like a perfect opportunity to grasp the high end of the conversation as related to the current situation.

You, the voter needs to educate yourself. Where is Biden?

Fact:

There is a Coronavirus that is killing hundreds of thousands globally. It is now here. We have not even seen the full force. Both campaigns stopped public rallies. They do video meet and greets. You knew that, correct? He is asking, all ya have to do is look for it.

Come on.

When you get back to me and tell me how difficult, debilitating, exhausting it is having to take care, home care 24/7 of a 94 year old for the past two years only to now be in the middle of a pandemic that will kill them. Today we had to cancel all the help we had with hospice due to the virus.

My impulse is to write to you in private, though we will start here and I would cherish the opportunity to communicate with you personally.

I never, ever, never meant to be rude... I understand that you took my words that way and for that I am ashamed and embarrassed. I truly can't believe that I caused someone else to feel battered by me, as I am aware of the sensation, and am looking back at my behavior with serious contemplation—sadly.

My only explanation is that I got caught up in the furor and blast of these forums and lost my humanity. To even think that it occurred kills me, but it obviously did happen.

I don't engage often and sometimes tailor my behavior to suit what I see around me in order to 'belong'. I obviously chose a bad model and will be working on this tendency from now on. I mean that sincerely.

Thank you for taking the time, emotion, and consideration for confronting me on my bad behavior. It is a lesson I have taken to heart.

I am all in for Biden. I have been vocally and enthusiastically in support of him for quite a while now.

I am just disappointed that I don't feel connected with my candidate. Perhaps I am not engaged enough, and that is my failing. Though it seems to me that he isn't present in the current discourse, he hasn't inserted himself forcefully into the narrative, and that is sad to me.

Do what is right. He and OBama brought us out of the Bush recession, fixed the economy with no help from Republicans, gave us the health care bill Democrats had wanted for 100 years that now needs to be adjusted thanks to Trump and his toadies, brought us through the Ebola scare, fixed a lot of Government. He knows what he is doing.

And not once did I expect a candidate to ask for my support. I understood that it wasn't about holding my hand or sweeping me off my feet. A candidate had positions on polices and issues and how /she planned to address them, and I either agreed with where s/he stood, or I didn't, and I'd voted accordingly.

But if it's a nice invitation to have your support that you want, then go here:

He doesn't have a range of ideas. I, too, believe that income and healthcare inequality have exacerbated this crisis, but there is so much more to it. I can't quite put my finger on it. He seems slightly disconnected, even though I know he cares where this is all going.

It didn't help that Chris Hayes egged him on to talk about his campaign and one of his main laments was that he couldn't hold large rallies.
