I'd hope to see him adding his voice and presence in D.C.,
fighting for the Dem package to help Americans
in our time of crisis.
He has some great plans for the future, but we need his help now.
In my humble opinion, of course.

(17,760 posts)The rationale is that he is a complete non-factor when it comes to pushing legislation or negotiating a deal, so he is being noble is stepping aside and letting folks like Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar and Cory Booker do their job while he sits back at home in front of the television criticizing them for not doing better.
If it was me in there, I would be doing ten times better...

Who knows, the Dems in the Senate might be busy enough fighting the Rs. They might enjoy the silence and lack of interference coming from BS' empty chair.
