Stop Bernie Bashing! If He Was In The Senate, He'd Be Negotiating a Great Deal!

That is right. If BS was a Senator, he would be like the second coming of Lyndon Johnson right now negotiating the New Green Deal, and showing all of you how it is done. Instead of the Johnson Treatment, Bernie would give his colleagues the BS treatment:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/johncoleman/2018/07/30/the-johnson-treatment-pushing-and-persuading-like-lbj/#163c400e4201

Perhaps the most defining element of President Johnson’s persuasion was the Johnson Treatment itself—he was willing to push people. For better or worse, he would harangue, threaten, flatter and bully. This was evident in Johnson’s dealings with his mentor, longtime Georgia Senator Dick Russell. In establishing the Warren Commission—which was responsible for investigating the Kennedy assassination—Johnson knew Russell didn’t want to serve, but announced Russell’s involvement before asking him then bullied him into it in a phone call. As recorded in Indomitable Will, he then pushed past Russell—a dedicated segregationist—to get Civil Rights Act passed, telling him, “Dick, I love you and I owe you. But....I’m going to run over you if you challenge me on this civil-rights bill.” He did just that—leading to Russell boycotting the Democratic convention in 1964. Similarly, after Bloody Sunday in Selma, Johnson summoned George Wallace to a meeting at the White House [DOC] in which he physically loomed over the man and badgered him for hours on subjects from voting rights to protecting demonstrators. He made people uneasy. He invaded their space. And he kept after them. This kind of persistence is uncomfortable for most of us but essential for LBJ.

So stop complaining about his inaction! Right now, he is like millions of us, stuck at home, watching TV, yelling at Trump and members of Congress for not doing their job, especially the Democrats.

That is why when a deal is reached, Bernie will crap all over the job done by Democrats, because he would have done so much better if he had been a Senator in Congress right now. People will rally to Bernie's cry, "Why can't members of Congress get of their a*& and do their d*&m job?"

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Let the man concede he has lost the contest to be nominated for President by the Democratic Party, let him forswear publicly any attempts at blackmailing disruption over platform and rules at the convention, and let him give a full-throated endorsement of Mr. Biden. No one will mention his name again.

Of course, that could be why he does not do these things....

There is absolutely nothing so despicably scurrilous that Sanders has or could say about Democrats like me, or his supporters believe, that it would influence my vote in any way.

You are deluding yourself if you cannot understand the depth of the anger against Sanders or admit where the nation would be today if Hillary were president and Democrats in control of congress. Instead of the Johnston Treatment, McConnell would be brought to his knees if Bernie subjected him to the full uncensored, unfiltered power of the BS Treatment. Think the Johnson Treatment, but on steroids, Super Magnum XL!

Bernie understands that the Congress needs to work and that being a Senator requires negotiation and building relationships. This is the United States Senate, Not Survey Monkey!!! BS Knows that being a Senator requires more than casting a vote and calling it a day.

That is why BS is angry and mad staying at home watching TV. He is frustrated with a do nothing Congress. If only he were a Senator, he would change things!

In fact, BS is going to have a rally where his supporters will call Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and other members of Congress to stay in DC and pass a progressive deal that meets his standards. If only BS were a Senator, he would do it himself and show them the way or at least work with and coordinate with them regarding getting a deal passed that helps the American people.
