Dear Bernie supporters.. Bernie will not be the nominee

Under any circumstance! Even if something happens to Joe. Something happening to Joe, does not make Bernie a winner!

If I were to vote in a presidential

....if every Senator felt the same way it would have been a 0-0 vote. Other than the five (all republicans) who were in quarantine, EVERY Senator felt it important enough to do his/her job.

When I was working I didn't have the option to pick and choose which job functions I could do and which I could ignore. If I skipped any I would have been written up and eventually fired.

BTW, regardless of the meaninglessness of THAT particular vote, two points:

1. Yesterday afternoon he DID find his way to Washington to participate in the exact same vote, just as "meaningless".
2. From last June through early January (6.5 months), he missed 253 consecutive votes.

If the tragedy occurred, Sanders would lose to a dead man on the first ballot, and be overwhelmed by votes for a favorite son or daughter of the Democratic Party selected by the convention.

"From Bernie’s perspective, dropping out of a race once you have no chance of winning is peculiar behavior that can only be explained by the work of a hidden hand. For most politicians, though, it is actually standard operating procedure. Only Sanders seems to think the normal thing to do once voters have made clear they don’t want to nominate you is to continue campaigning anyway."

"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

He has absolutely terrible leadership skills. Doesn't listen, no team-building capabilities whatsoever (rabble-rousing and getting people angry is not leadership), no consensus building experience, no foreign policy experience, no management experience, poor hiring judgement, inability to project outcomes from known facts.

I will concede that Joe "Nothing will fundamentally change" Biden will likely be the nominee, and that we can look forward to little systemic improvement in this country for the next 4 years.

Hey, I might even like that the country is administered by Jill Biden, Nancy Reagan style, until the 2024 election.

That said, I would still like the opportunity to vote for Bernie in the primaries. Again.

C'mon Joe supporters. You're already crowing about your candidate's delegate count. What's the harm in giving us change supporters a few more months of warm & fuzzies before the same-old/same-old curtain falls again?

and are not interchangeable, and voters know this, why there was such quick consolidation on Super Tuesday for Biden (and against Bernie).

In the highly unlikely chance Biden's campaign was fatally wounded - the centrist wing (which is 2/3 of the party) voters IMO would still vote Biden in the remaining primaries so that the convention could then nominate a Biden replacement.
