you need to go sit down now and watch the town hall he just did on CNN.
Then come back and try - just try - to push that ridiculous meme.

(43,380 posts)Joe had it all - ideas, good responses, compassion and a wide understanding of the situation.
Last question was about people dying alone and loved ones not being able to be there. His response should be played side by side against IMPOTUS' heartless, me-me-me comments.

(43,380 posts)They never paid one bit of attention to the most qualified person to run for president in decades, at least.
It was all smears, false accusations, exaggerations and just plain lies.

(25,183 posts)but--Andrew Cuomo is making a lot of noise that might cause some voters to see Joe Biden as being a bit lesser. NBC News this evening really spent a LOT of time interviewing the governor.

(96,043 posts)When one Democrat shines, it reflects well on all the rest, it does not put others in the shade.
"From Bernies perspective, dropping out of a race once you have no chance of winning is peculiar behavior that can only be explained by the work of a hidden hand. For most politicians, though, it is actually standard operating procedure. Only Sanders seems to think the normal thing to do once voters have made clear they dont want to nominate you is to continue campaigning anyway."
"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

(25,183 posts)Sometimes, a longing can develop for one who did not run the race, raising the question, "Why was this one not a choice?"
It's a long way until the election, and we have many things to go through on the way from here to there, so VP Biden may well regain a footing as a powerful alternative to the Orange Menace, but in the meantime, Gov. Cuomo is looking like a worthy adversary on this particular field of battle.

(304,721 posts)Among the other possible reasons? Similar political views, to get a post in a Biden White House, to help New York should Biden become president, and without running for president himself to stay relevant on the national stage.

(3,282 posts)is toxic. They just make up whatever they think might stick. Doesn't matter if it's saying he has a degenerative cognitive disorder, that he's a pedophile, that he's a rapist. Doesn't matter, nothing is too much for them to try.
That's why you have to ignore them, and anything they start pushing you can just count as bogus.
