The New York Primary has been postponed to June 23, the last of them all. Too bad....

....some still feel it necessary at all.

If there's one positive development, Sanders' paid workers will get a few more weeks of income.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

And Cuomo had smartly scheduled these elections, including one for a Congressional seat, the same day as the Democratic presidential primary in hopes it would help the Democrats in those races. Part of me hopes Bernie concedes before then, but part of me wouldn't mind him staying in because it could drive up turnout a little in the other races, although less so than it would have if we'd had our primary earlier when the race was more competitive.

Some of his supporters are already pushing the narrative that "half of the country hasn't even voted" to confuse people into thinking Bernie has a real chance at overtaking Biden.

But there is no scenario where Bernie will be the nominee. If something were to happen to Biden someone else would be selected at the truncated virtual convention. In any case, that person would not be Bernie.

In the tiny chance that Biden somehow is not the nominee (due to illness, scandal or whatever conspiracy theory the Bernie Bros are pushing on social media) - Bernie would still not have anywhere near the requisite delegate count and will not prevail in a contested convention, where the party would simply nominate a candidate/ticket to honor the spirit of the voters who chose Biden and who rejected Bernie.
