While BS either attacks Democrats, takes credit for Senator Warren's work or simply draws attention to himself, Elizabeth Warren knows that it is not about her. It is about the American people. There is a reason why Trump attacked Warren, but repeatedly defended BS.

Baker told President Donald Trump on a conference call in March that Massachusetts had been outbid on orders for the equipment by the federal government. Trump had advised state governors to use their own established supply chains to purchase the items.
"We do like you going out, seeing what you can get, if you can get it faster," Trump told Baker. "Price is always a component of that also, maybe that's why lost to the feds. I'll tell you, that's probably why."
Baker described his attempts to procure needed items such as face masks, ventilators and respirators as "an incredibly messy thicket."

(6,435 posts)And I know my post will likely get deleted because, gasp, I'm praising a Republican who's actually doing shit and getting it right. But he's put together a strong bipartisan multifaced team that has been keeping the populace up to date and has been a calm and steady leader in all of this.
It won't change me to vote for him anytime in the future, but praise where praise is warranted. He's treating it seriously and has since the end of January.

(9,864 posts)with a REPUBLICAN Governor, Mayor, Senator, or ANY REPUBLICAN POLITICAN for that matter whining NOW, or in the future, after having ridden in on the coat tails of the Trump Regime and having supported the current fascist tyrannical republican party, for the last three years......
My sympathy, in this situation, would be exclusively reserved for all the Mass Residents that DIDN'T vote for him.......
Same goes in New Orleans, ( and all of Louisiana), Florida, and etc......( I distinctly remember seeing a video of the Republican Trumphumping governor? down in Florida, that weeks ago, was gloating on national tv that he immediatley got every last thing he asked for from Trump, and he didn't know what the governors in NY, Wash state, or California were wining about......wow. double wow....I wonder what the fuck he is saying now?????? or more specifically what he will be saying in the near future...)
BTW, some scientists are saying that Southern Florida may explode with virus cases, like a few other cities have, due to them promoting and allowing their Beach Party Student Break Fiasco......a company showed a visual of the massive student crowd numbers at the beaches, and then did a visual of after the break, showing the tracking of their cell phones, and showing the masses of them all traveling back across the nation to their home states and colleges.....WOW Same thing with the New Orleans Mardi gras which was 1.1 MILLION people, and then all traveling back to their home states.

(11,566 posts)But when the virus hits the red states, as it will because his supporters believe its all media hype, he will see a lot of sick people. Thats when we will see the federal government sending red states equipment by the truck load because he will want to save them. He is hoarding equipment to let Democrats die and then rush in on his white horse to save Republicans.

(17,719 posts)On this Board, BS supporters are once again pushing talking points that are similar to the 2016 attacks on Hillary Clinton:

He should stay in and considering the uncertain times we are living in secure his place if Biden were unable to continue to the general election. Staying in to the convention is the correct and pragmatic move.
This is not just posters. BS's campaign itself stokes this with, "you never know what might" type talking points.
To me, this is why BS is not fit to be President. He pushes a campaign where supporters are once again holding out hope that something bad happens to the Democratic front runner. This is a direct result of BS's constant attacks and efforts to push a false equivalency between Republicans and Democrats:

(5,865 posts)in, what is the beef? Like I have said previously and to state the obvious maybe Joe should have started his campaign engine a little earllier if he wanted to be further along at this moment in time. And I don't think as you do, that the BS tweet you have reposted implies an equivalency between Dems and Republicans. It merely puts both Repubicans and Centrist Establishment Dems on notice that he is in it till the end, as is his right and as he has plainly telegraphed since day one. On edit -- so much for the "big tent" tradition of the party and this site as well.
And to use a boxing analogy -- if you want to beat the champ, you've got to knock him out. With the fundraising records he has set and the mammoth ground game he has achieved over the last seven years, Bernie, in this analogy is obviously the "champ". Joe, being hte challenger, may be ahead big time on points but until he delivers the KO punch, the contest goes on. Bernie and his supporters are in it to the convention, after which, Bernie will support the nominee, as he has said he would, whoever that may be. What is so shocking about that? And did he ever imply anything else would be the case? I just don't get it. I don't get the thousand of posts attacking him and his supporters. They have been run off this site.

(17,719 posts)...If something did happen to Biden. Indeed, by continuing to campaign against Biden and encourage his supporters to hope for something to happen to Biden the way his surrogates seemed to hold out for a Hillary indictment is incredibly divisive and would more likely undercut his chances of securing the nomination, particularly if it looks like Bernie's campaign cheerleaded for something to happen.
On top of that, this is about helping the American people and beating Trump. This is not all about Bernie. Biden and other candidates have run ads attacking Trump. At best, Bernie runs ads attacking billionaires, but then turns around and suggests his opponents are acting at the behest of those billionaires, which promotes Bernie's false equivalency.
I understand that you believe in Bernie, but to what end? How does this help the American people if BS is just running for the sake of running. Worse, if at the end, he forces Biden to spend campaign resources defending himself against BS, then BS has once again helped Trump, which will hurt the American people.
