tr been slow.

Where's he been?

What is holding him up?

Who is in charge?

It's not rocket science.

Put someone in charge; need a general.

Wise if tr called Pres. Obama.

"secure remote voting" in November.

That sent a chill up my spine. And bet it made Putin bolt upright when his boys translated it for him.

No, no. No, no, no. NO!

promoting vote by mail; we have it in Oregon. He is up on security issues with voting. Has been all over ES&S, largest vendor in country, for installing remote access on their voting machines. Been after them for a couple years.

Secure remote voting is an oxymoron.

can we safely slap together a "secure" system in a few months.

Mail-in ballots only as an option to normal voting this election...need something traceable. We can look into electronic voting in the future when we don't have a thug in the WH.

Far to vulnerable to hacker shenanigans. Mail in ballots is the way to go. It would take longer to get the results but who cares?

Mueller report: Russia hacked state databases and voting machine companies

https://www.rollcall.com/2019/04/22/mueller-report-russia-hacked-state-databases-and-voting-machine-companies/

Williams: "MSNBC now has some new calls on a few more states. We go to our Steve Kornacki."

Kornacki: "Brian, our election center now calls Massachusetts, New York and California for Trump. All the President needs now is Hawaii and Alaska for a clean 50-state sweep."

Dems need to put the kibosh on any such talk about this bullshit ASAP. I'm worried enough as it is that several of the crucial swing states are under Republican control and need to be watched like a hawk...we don't need the goddamn Russians to come in and perform the coup de grâce.

Threats To U.S. Elections Aren't Going Away. What Have The 2020 Democrats Proposed?

https://www.npr.org/2019/07/25/744587413/threats-to-u-s-elections-arent-going-away-what-have-the-2020-democrats-proposed

Klobuchar listed cybersecurity as an "immediate priority" in her "First 100 Days" plan and has vowed, if elected, to issue an executive order that increases funding within the government.

She also supports creating a cybersecurity "Cabinet-level task force" as well as working toward all federal elections having paper ballot backup systems along with audits.

Klobuchar addressed election interference during the first Democratic debate as well, criticizing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who blocked her election security legislation last month.

But Moscow Mitch blocked it. Well, duhhh. Does a Russian bear shit in the Siberian woods?
