Biden Confirms Whitmer Is On His Veep Short List

Joe Biden confirmed that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) is one of the women he’s considering as a potential running mate in his White House bid, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Said Biden on MSNBC: “She made the list in my mind two months ago. There’s probably going to be a list, I’m in the process of, Brian, we’ll have it by mid-April, putting together an organization that will run the background checks…by the second or third week in April.”

Also, any of the other Democratic candidates other than Tulsi Gabbard would be ok. I do think Warren can do more good in the Senate though. Just my 2 cents.

and wouldn't help flip a single swing state. Whitmer at least would help to bring back Michigan into the Democratic column.

please, put together a good "screening team" to do thorough background checks and actually select a QUALIFIED candidate - and don't go asking John McCain's team for any advice!
