We need to mend fences here too. And we are in the power position. It's not the time to lash out.

And tell his supporters in no uncertain terms to back Biden.

Failure to do that today is an affront to the country.

I can only guess they must think it's better to burn down the house with everyone in it to end the "establishment" rule than to try to get Trump out and save the nation.

He's hoping we will care more about our lives than our country & stay home so he can get some wins, more delegates & somehow win. Or we can risk our lives to put someone who actually gives a damn about someone other than himself in office. He doesn't seem to care that this will put the health and possibly lives of his supporters at risk as well as those of Biden and is only keeping himself safe.

I won't post what I feel about this, too angry.

Bernie is not doing that, sounds like he's still actively wanting people to continue voting for him to gain extra delegates which could/would force primaries. Democrats in red state primaries could be forced to vote in person which could be detrimental to their health. I hope he misspoke and clarifies, but this is how it is at this minute

Is leaving himself in place in case something happens to Biden between now and whatever convention we have.

Perhaps when the inevitable hits him, he can become the keynote speaker and throw his entire campaign behind the next President.

If the roles were reversed and it was Biden supporters making this ridiculous excuse, the BSers would be screeching their heads off at Biden for not getting behind their precious dear leader.

It’s beyond ridiculous, anyway, to think that 77-y/o Biden is more likely to die than the 78 y/o with the known bad ticker.

Joe Biden
