I suspect that now that Sanders has suspended his campaign, that DU administers are handling that change the same way they did when other of our candidate's suspended their campaigns. I think it no longer is an option for anyone to identify Sanders as their candidate preference in this forum. Note that Sanders is no longer included at the top of the forum page which now features Biden exclusively. I think the forum software automatically moves a poster here to Undecided as soon as their preferred candidate suspends their campaign. I suspect most prior Sanders supporters haven't revisited their preference choice yet in their profile, hence they default to Undecided. Some may actually still be undecided I suppose, but it is too soon to automatically draw that conclusion.

They probably just haven't switched to Biden yet. Some will also likely remain undecided until the admins choose to retire that particular function.

As for your underlying assertion, I agree with it, of course. The future depends on electing Biden and as many Democrats as possible in November.

I still see Warren as candidate of choice.

There are now ONLY TWO candidate who have an actual chance of being elected. If someone is "undecided" that suggests to me that they're trying to decided between one of the two: Biden or Trump.

As for on to the GE, Biden moved on weeks ago and has been campaigning against Trump/Repubs ever since.

Btw, you can take it to the bank that none of the experts in the party or Biden campaign are at all surprised by Sanders' intent to continue causing trouble. The surprise would be if he stopped because those experts include psychiatrists and political psychologists and sociologists who had Sanders' number a long, long time ago.

They also have ongoing intelligence reports on what Russia and other hostile states are up to. Sanders remains a Russian asset and beneficiary who can keep his place in the national spotlight as long as he remains a problem to us.

Btw, he knows that if he ever stopped his base would drop him as a traitor, Russia would stop its support -- at least, the media would turn off the spotlight, important people would stop calling, and Democratic officials would say something blandly respectful if someone mentioned him. The end.

Then if the person wants a GIF, they can choose a different one but the posts will no longer list Undecided as an option.
