But I'm a fucking adult who understands that another 4 yrs of Trump, Barr, and this Senate of enablers would be the end of a functioning democratic republic.
We need more "fucking adults" like this...

How is this anything but rallying, and inspirational?

"Enquiring minds want to know!"

"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

that's a pretty accurate description of my feelings. I'm not sure I would call it inspiring, just a simple statement of today's circumstances.

It's also kind of preaching to the choir here at DU. Needs to be sent out over Facebook, Twitter and reach people who don't feel that way. They are the problem, not people here.

Personally, aside from a few rigorously apolitical craft forums, this place is my one indulgence in social media. It seems to be someone's tweet, so it must be out there in circulation.

I don't use facebook, twitter, instagram etc.

It seems like certain posters here, as with the posts above mine, have over-used things such as the OP confrontationally toward those for whom Biden wasn't the first choice, even when we repeatedly state he'll get our vote in the general.

Have a good evening, sir!

It does not seem supporters of any candidate but one have trouble rallying to the cause of the people and the country.

The ones who, even at this late date, are still screeching "piss your vote away!" (after weeks of "Vote blue no matter who!" when their chosen one was "inevitable" ) very simply Do. Not. Care. They've always been table-flippers who think politics boils down to "whomever shouts loudest, wins." They're pretty confident that the "establishment Dems" they loathe so very much will rush in and save them from any serious consequences they may suffer. In the meantime they'll grab a bag of popcorn and watch the rest of the world burn, occasionally bopping over to their fave platforms to pretend they're horrified by the spectacle.

Every time they lose, they still insist their every demand be catered to lest they withhold their vote. But when it comes time to cast that vote, they snicker and "Rorschach" us because that's their favorite fantasy power-wank and it soothes their stinging bottoms.

Afterwards they will claim that they "held their nose" and voted for the Democratic candidate they spent over a year screaming that they would NEVER, EVER vote. And then they get set up to do it all over again next time.

We need to stop giving these slimy fuckers air. You don't welcome the coronavirus into your home on the promise that it won't kill your family; why indulge these assholes?

Frog: "You do this every time, you jerk!"
Scorpion: "It's your fault because you keep helping me cross the river!"
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
