Q and A is especially interesting. At about 30 minutes, he proposes climate change as a national project, for two reasons: (a) this is an urgent problem - an existential threat to our survival and a crucial matter of national security and (b) we need a national project to bring Americans together to work on an urgent problem that it is in everyone's interest to resolve. He also noted (i'm paraphrasing - look at tape for exact words) , "wouldn't it be nice to have a national project that does not involve war?" Also, brief (by necessity of time running out) but astute comments on foreign policy vis a vis Eastern Europe and Iran, at about 43 minutes in.
