The Harris Campaign reached its April fundraising goal

"XXXXX,

I want to reach out personally to say thank you for making a contribution to our campaign. With your help, we reached our April fundraising goal last night at around 10 p.m. on the East Coast.

Every time we set a fundraising target, it’s not arbitrary: whether we reach our fundraising targets has a real, tangible impact on the direction of our campaign. When we reach our targets, we can fully fund our strategic programs. If we fall short, we run the risk of needing to cut funding from important parts of our budget.

Fortunately, each time we’ve set a goal, our grassroots team has stepped up in a real way to ensure we don’t fall short.

Later today, our campaign’s leadership team and our department heads are gathering for a team retreat where they’ll discuss strategy and our budget for the coming months.

Because we hit our April target, the conversations during today’s retreat will be about how we can spend our campaign’s resources diligently -- instead of looking for areas where we can cut. It will keep us focused on the most important task at hand: campaigning hard and connecting with more voters across the country.

None of this could be possible without you and your contributions. Whether you gave $1, $10, or $100, every ounce of support you give helps us build a winning campaign.

Thanks again for all that you do.

— Kamala Harris"
