DU4 Questions & Answers

1. What happened to the "self delete" button?? I went to delete a post that I made in error but couldn't find the button anywhere.
2. What is the "top" button supposed to do? I tried hitting it, but it didn't seem to do anything, that I could tell.
3. This forum is hard to find. I had to look through my posts to find one I made in here yesterday in order to find my way back here. At the top of the screen, it says Special Forums >> DU4 Questions & Answers, but when I go to "Navigate," I don't see Special Forums listed.
Thanks for all your hard work and for any answers you can provide!

(22,540 posts)1) The Self-delete button is now behind the Powers button, which you should find at the bottom left of any of your posts. If you click the Powers button, a section should open up just beneath, with the Self-delete option inside. If you don't see the Powers button (or link, if you're using Skinner Mode), or if it is "greyed out" on your posts, or if the Powers section does not open up, please let me know.
2) The Top button should simply take you back up to the top of the page.
3) Yes, unfortunately this forum is not super easy to find... apologies for that. It's a temporary forum which is a bit thrown-together, so the "location trail" at the top is a bit messed up (those are more bugs we have to fix). To find it in future, you can either Subscribe to it, which will make it appear in your left-column navigation (when not on mobile) and on your Subscriptions page (which you can get to from My Stuff > Subscriptions). Or you can get to it directly from Navigate > Help & Search, then scroll down to the Special Forums section.
For some reason, I hadn't paid any attention to the Powers button. Just tried it out, and it works fine.
The Top button works just as you said also. Not sure why I missed that. D'oh.
I hadn't even thought about subscribing to this forum! (Another d'oh.) Have now done so.
P.S. I LOVE having the strikethrough and highlight buttons on the reply screen and will definitely make use of them!

(22,540 posts)Just FYI but subscribing to this forum is also a little buggy at the moment... if you find the forum isn't in your left-column navigation, try refreshing the page to see if it pops in (note that if you're on mobile there is no left column so this advice is moot).

(20,987 posts)Put a post in it. Then use your "My Posts" button (inside "My Stuff) to open it, and use the breadcrumbs at the top to reload the forum.
helpfully,
