out of jail and/or protect his and his alone, assets? Kind of sounds like it to me. If it's a loan, w/ loan payments, then the interest alone is a substantial amount, which I don't think they can burrow/hide. The IRS imputes a minimum amount of interest that is calculated on such loans that the taxpayer must pay on this so-called loan.
