if Trump gets into the WH again is massive civil disobedience. Just refuse to comply with whatever BS Trump comes up with. It might mean setting up underground networks in some cases (providing abortion pills and emergency abortions, hiding immigrants from being detained in camps). In other cases, it might mean openly showing our opposition in large numbers at a time in marches. He would try to stifle demonstrations with a show of force, but if the numbers are large enough, he would not have the manpower to deal with it. If he reacts with excessive force, then he and his MAGA thugs might get the civil war that they've been pushing for.

But even though he lost by over 7 million votes the last time, all his commissioned investigations told him he lost as well as the courts and members of his administration, he stubbornly refused to accept it - which is what resulted in January 6th. That's what I'm most afraid of, that he and his minions (Gym Jordan, Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, etc.) are already planning something even worse this time.

However, I certainly agree with you, we definitely would need to take serious action this time. The massive Women's March was hardly enough, we need to take matters into our own hands.

his ridiculous and unfounded claims.

But this time around, the courts have already gone rogue with absurd rulings that support the MAGA agenda. The SC is too corrupt to trust.

In 2020, even Republucan election officials, like Rafensperger in Georgia, refused to go along with Trump's demands to find more votes. But now Republicans in Georgia are derailing Fani Willis' racketeering case over that phone call about the votes in Georgia.

Other state legislatures are developing rules that allow them to refuse to certify wins that they don't like.

So this time around, Trump can appear to win legally by having corrupt and distorted rulings in his favor, even if Biden gets the majority of electoral votes.

While the decisions and counts are taking place, Trump will have his thugs out in force threatening violence against everyone who does not agree with him.

Sometimes I wish that Trump would get jail time for his violations of bail just so that we can get the fighting over with while Biden is still securely in office. Trump's supporters would get enraged enough over jail time to start physically fighting and we would have to defeat them while Biden has control of the military. It's not that I want a physical confrontation between polarized factions in the country. I don't. But, I believe that it is inevitable at some point now because the MAGA cult is so fanatically belligerent that a showdown is coming. If it has to be, then let it be when Biden controls the reins of government.

And it was mentioned to me earlier that SCOTUS had barricades erected because of a decision they finally made which I'm guessing means the presidency immunity claim. That does not sound good.

I have Liz Cheney's book, am listening to it for the second time now in my car, and what went on during the 2020 election was bad enough. I recommend it highly since she provides details and names names and recommend the audio version since she also includes audio of speeches and actual testimony. I certainly followed what was going on then, but she had a front row seat, especially to TFG's false claims and those who lied on his behalf - and her experiences on January 6th and on the Select Committee. Those who testified were all Republicans and placed themselves in danger - like Cassidy Hutchinson. And the testimony from Capitol Police was frightening and brutal.

I bring this up now because I agree that this election stands to be even more dangerous. And that we won't learn the sentence that TFG faces after his recent convictions for another month gives them more time to plan - "retribution," as they call it. There's no excuse for his other even more serious trials not being over by this late date - and they clearly could result in a serious prison sentence. Reality Winner stole one classified document and served four years in prison. And I also agree that it would be much safer for the country if he began his incarceration now - before they have even more time to plan "retribution" on the rest of the country.

manages to get elected to a second term, I'd anticipate him restricting the sale of firearms and ammunition only to selective individuals/groups and the seizure of firearms from non-supporters.
