and they are using two marvelous political slogans that will define I would bet a generation.

"We are NOT going back!"

and

"Mind your own damn business!"

Sleepy Joe has outfoxed the Stable Genius. I still say this was not something put together in panic over the last 8 weeks. This was a profound determination to explore every option and have every resource available over the last 5 years, maybe even 7 or 8 years. Taking office at 77, Joe didn't announce he would be a one term president. He let things develop on their own, but they had to know this day might come, at any time. They nailed it.

And that was sure what we saw last night, and though I was anxious when President Biden decided to step aside, but I've never seen as much enthusiasm and joy than we've seen this week - the speeches were wonderful and positive and Kamala Harris hit it out of the park!

Not to mention, TFG keeps whining that the Democrats had no right to change candidates.

I love the Reverend Al, and this was a powerful moment! I am in awe of the star power this convention assembled. The visuals (optics to Chucky Toad) of the stage, the blue pastels, the height of the background, the camera work. One for the Ages.

Whine along with Trump. He first floated "rigged election" in April 2016 as I recall. "Russia, if you're listening ..." in any normal year was disqualifying. Where was the press? Why wasn't this stopped?

Rev. Al Sharpton brings "NY's Central Park Five" exonerated Black men to DNC stage supporting Kamala - ABC 7 News - WJLA

And I certainly agree with you about Rev. Al, he never slows down, steps up for important causes wherever they are. And I loved that he brought up the obvious example of Shirley Chisholm. My Dad met her and spent the day with her as part of a group showing a delegation from downstate around our upstate city (Saratoga Springs, NY) - and he was assigned to Shirley Chisholm. He had no idea who she was (early '60s) and when he got to know her, he became a lifelong admirer!

As for TFG, I have no idea how he's gotten away with so many crimes over the years, anyone else would have been incarcerated years ago, let alone allowed to run for the highest office in the land as a convicted felon!
