(950 posts)RFK, Jr. is clearly delusional and doing all he can to trash the legacy of both his father and his family and the rest of the Kennedy family is calling him out for it as they should. RFK, Sr., the real RFK is rolling in his grave as are JFK and Teddy.

And I've been to the Kennedy graves at Arlington, IIRC both RFK and Ted are buried next to their brother. And I agree, whoever is caretaker of those graves had better check on them ASAP.

(950 posts)My hunch is also that this is a big problem for the family. I can't imagine what his mother is thinking right now either. He's clearly lost his mind because social media wouldn't let him get away with his lies about vaccines. I think that's at the root of this. I've been to Arlington too. I saw Patrick the other night on CNN and he said he tried to talk RFK, Jr. out of campaigning in the battleground states and it went no where. Patrick said he's going to be campaigning for the Harris-Walz ticket. I saw Kerry Kennedy on with Jen Psaki and she said her brother has set fire to their father's legacy and that she pretty much wants nothing to do with him. She described her father as the real RFK and how he was a champion for the American people and for those less fortunate and that he believed that doctors had done so much good for our country. This is all totally opposite RFK Jr. and the orange turd. She also talked about how the stakes in this election couldn't be higher. I hope the Kennedy family continues to speak out against RFK, Jr.

(222,072 posts)And three of those brothers have given their lives. When I was a kid, Bobby Kennedy was my senator - and I've often thought what a difference he would have made as president, since I have no doubt he would have won. That his son and namesake chose to align himself with the worst thing to come along in our history - a draft dodger, convicted felon who tried to overthrow the government - could not have been a worse, more unhinged and insult of a choice.

(950 posts)He's another entitled spoiled rich boy just like the orange turd and bushthief who created the election stealing road map that the orange turd is now using.

(222,072 posts)I've listened to Liz Cheney's book and the conclusions of the J6 Committee was that he must never get anywhere near the Oval Office again.
GoreWon2000
(950 posts)That would've kept him from running. He's pulled every trick in the book to delay his trials and now the maga SCOTUS has given him immunity. The view that the orange turd should never again be in the Oval office goes well beyond the J6 committee. I just hope enough voters agree in November. I'm curious to know what bushthief's letter thanking Liz Cheney for the J6 committee said that you'd previously mentioned? There's another big dose of hypocrisy since bushthief created the election stealing road map that the orange turd is now using.

(222,072 posts)As he should have been. The impeachment managers presented a compelling case - both times, actually. And that's another fact I learned from Liz Cheney's book - many Republicans confided that they agreed with her, but were too afraid to speak out.
Oh, right! I'm so sorry I forgot to get back to you on Bush*'s thank you note to Liz Cheney. I'll have to listen again to remember the exact words, but among all the thanks she received for standing up and speaking out in support of the rule of law and the Constitution, one letter that she received was from George W. Bush, thanking her for doing the right thing and for her courage.
