3. I noticed they didn't mention climate change as a topic.

I believe the news media holds tremendous responsibility for where we are as a nation and a world. Climate change should have been a major topic since the 1990s and been discussed at least once a month if not more. It was rarely mentioned and often with a "balanced" interview with a conservative denier. They have screwed us over completely and now that we are seeing the consequences happening in front of our eyes it's too late to do anything to stop it. The most we get is a "Experts believe this latest disaster was made worse by climate change." I hope all the reporters own beachfront property in Florida.

4. FACT CHECKING. There's no stinking fact checking in Republican politics.

54 years ago as a sophomore in High school, I remember a lecture in Debate Class. Very Small instructor, very large voice.

IF YOU ASSERT, YOU MUST PROVE. So freakin easy Donald. However I’ve never been in a position where I was on my way to jail and thought lying was my way out. So I can’t empathize with you. On the other hand, I’m a law abiding, tax paying citizen, happily married to wife number one for over 50 years, Veteran whose crime spree consists of two speeding tickets I got in the summer of 84. I promptly and humbly payed both fines. So you can’t empathize with me.

A speeding ticket was my only court experience (also twice) and that was traumatic enough. Our first experience with him in office was bad enough for both the country, our allies, our standing in the world - not to mention the experience of American citizens who spent half of it terrified of a pandemic which he thought he could overlook with his lies.

And now that he's a convicted felon, also found guilty of sexual assault and illegal business practices - not to mention facing charges for attempting to overthrow the government and for stealing classified government secrets - he's allowed to run to lead the country yet again??
