Related: About this forum'He betrayed the nation': Judge Luttig slams Trump, hopes Americans 'come to their senses' - Velshi - MSNBC
Polls indicate that Donald Trump and Kamala Harris remain in a deadlocked race for the presidency, but for some people the choice is crystal clear. I hope Americans come to their senses, former federal judge J. Michael Luttig tells Ali Velshi.
He excoriates Trump for his disqualifying conduct before, during, and after his presidency. The question is whether Donald Trump is fit, and he is not, says Luttig. When he was entrusted with the presidency before, he betrayed the nation. - Aired on 10/26/2024.

That some people are pissed about higher egg prices? Or that their favorite reality TV star is being disrespected?
To me, the validity of our democracy and the rule of law are extremely emotional. They're at the core of this country's existence. How can you get any more "emotional" than that? It comes down to this: either you respect the intent of our founding fathers, and the millions of soldiers who have given their lives over the years for our democracy, or decide that it doesn't matter.
