'Premature capitulation': WaPo editor Robert Kagan resigns in protest - Velshi - MSNBC

Robert Kagan, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, resigned from his position as editor-at-large at the Washington Post after the paper’s billionaire owner Jeff Bezos made the decision that the paper would no longer endorse presidential candidates.

The editorial board was prepared to endorse Vice President Harris. Kagan called the decision a “premature capitulation” to Donald Trump, who has promised retribution against his political rivals, and that this episode is a “preview of coming attractions of what things are going to be like in a Donald Trump presidency. - Aired on 10/27/2024.
