Plus, MAGA's refusal to accept the results would not mean that there's no clear winner.

I can protest and file suit all day long that I don't "think" the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, that my bookie had them "up" by several points, that the 49ers were robbed -- but my wishful thinking and ill intent doesn't change the fact that the Chiefs clearly, fairly and legitimately won. Not to compare the serious and complicated business of politics to sports, but just picking a relatable scored contest for which the winner was clearly witnessed by everyone.

But seriously, it's like Republicans just want to play fantasy football, and the rest of America wants to get on with the serious business of democracy, self governance, solving problems, and being a respected world leader.
