New Survey Finds Significant Support for Political Violence Ahead of Election - Amanpour and Company PBS

The extremely tight race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is a nail-biter for Americans -- especially in memory of the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Many fear the election outcome could lead to renewed political violence.

University of Chicago professor Robert Pape is an expert on the topic. He joins Hari Sreenivasan to discuss how future insurrections might be prevented. - Originally aired on November 1, 2024.

I wouldn't say 'Survey Finds Significant Support for Political Violence' as the headline does. That may be due to my inherent conservative nature.

I actually watched the whole piece earlier and was impressed, and Amanpour and her crew do very good work.

Though they had a right-winger on the other day, which surprised me, so I didn't bother to listen.

From what we've seen, pro-TFG protesters aren't showing up when he's called for them (his times in court), so I'm hoping it stay that way. But like the speaker said, we have seen the lone nuts even since January 6th.

8. To be more accurate:'"Many fear a Trump loss could lead to violence"

If T***p wins, Kamala will call him and congratulate him. He'll say something snarky in return, like, "I guess the voters weren't ready for a colored c*** as president," The Dems will lick their wounds, take a day off, then start getting ready for 2028. What they won't do is run to the SCOTUS in an effort to overturn the results of a free and fair election. The Dems won't submit fake electors, or file case after case, or show videos of an election worker eating a TicTac and claiming she's tampering with the ballots. If T***p wins, the Dems won't pick up arms and storm the Capitol.

This f*cking "both sides do it" is bullshit. Any violence will occur only if T***p loses.
