So far each of these picks look as though they were hand picked by Putin. Each one will "take the USA down a few notches"; in defense, intelligence, health, environment, education, law, diplomacy.... Putin knows in now way can he improve his once super power country's standing, so he needs to knock USA down. And every one of these picks achieves that end.
