good at pulling his punches. He's still living in a world where there was actual bipartisanship; not a "burn the country down if we don't get our way" republican party. We need a fighter as leader in the senate. Damn it! Where is Tim Walz when we need him?

4. General Strike Is One Good Weapon

Schumer was about as strong as he could manage. The question now is what do we do about it? A National Strike could be one possibility. Tenants should hold on to their rentals and fight evictions until the money is restored. State Attorneys General will be filing lawsuits in short order. Media needs to cover elderly and disabled live on TV if they are being thrown out of care facilities. They need to interview Doctors and Nurses who are not going to be paid due to the freeze of Federal funds. It needs to be covered 24/7 on cable news and by online alternative media. This is a terrible thing but we have ways to fight back. Let's get to work.
