All compassionate people do feel collective outrage. The problem is our enemy is not compassionate. Quite the opposite, they are sociopathic and sociopaths enjoy the suffering of others. The only way to defeat an enemy like this is through power politics and the use of law and legal force. Here is a link to some ideas on how to resist and fight back--
