I remember because I drove her. This makes no sense because we know that this vaccine has saved millions of children's lives - same as earlier vaccines preventing polio and pertussis (whooping cough).

Measles is far and away the most contagious of these "childhood" diseases. Not to mention it's a lot more serious than most of us realize.

I'm old enough to have had measles as a child, so I'm forever immune. But my sons got the MMR vaccine.
