Everyone liked my Dad, he had a great sense of humor. The only one he was tough on was me since I was his firstborn. But when I got older, I came to appreciate it since my younger brother won't leave the house.

I try to keep up with the news, but part of me finds what's going to be just surreal. And I can't help wondering what my parents and grandparents would think.
