Abortion rights activist Julie Burkhart reacts to Wyoming Supreme Court ruling - Velshi - MS NOW

Abortion remains legal in Wyoming after the state Supreme Court struck down two laws barring the procedure. “(The judges) affirm that abortion is health care and that people have a right to make their decisions about health care without government interference,” said reproductive rights activist Julie Burkhart in response to the ruling. “We know this fight is not over, but we are just so delighted that reasonable people in Wyoming were able to see that abortion is health care,” she said. “This is not a partisan issue.” - Aired on 01/11/2026.
