Declare it a 'victory', give Trump some medals and a Nobel peace prize, tell the Iranians it is all for show and they really won the showdown.
Offer the Iranians a 10c per barrel toll for oil ships they allow through.
As a token of friendship, they can promise not to make any nukes, even if they so anyway.
Let the deterrent of mutually assured destruction for the first to use a nuke to take effect.

Trump will never know if this subterfuge is played right.

Both sides are so damn sick of this war, it might just work.
