I was at Trending Up earlier this week, a conference for progressive content creators, and got to spend some time with Skye Perryman, the CEO of Democracy Forward. Democracy Forward is responsible for some of the most effective litigation against the administration (they literally had Project 2025 lawsuits ready to go the first day of the administration because they had, ya know, read it). They’re most recently responsible for a judge halting the administration of the $1.776B bribery fund from the DOJ. Skye has been in the fight this whole time, so I brought her some of the doomy comments I get all the time, to see what her response would be. We covered:
