On edit: I just subscribed to the Hopium Chronicles. Simon Rosenberg is spot on. The only way to ultimately relegate MAGA to the dustbin of history is to immerse ourselves in OUR story -- the story of liberalism's place in building a better society, past and future. Making Hopium a regular feature of my information universe is a step toward escaping from the right wing horror show and the immobilizing hopelessness and fear it sows. As he notes, they may be louder than us, but there are more of us and it's our job to create the kind of optimistic community grounded in real people power and progress that will outshine their dark view of humanity
