money to the feds but get less federal aid in return. Why can't blue states stop this practice and only give back as much as they get? Seeing that the red states get more fed aid than they give, maybe it's time for their representatives to be told to man up and figure out how not to live on the fed dime any more.

Gavin and the congress will protect us the best they can, but we’ll be pretty much on our own for fire and flood assistance.
Perhaps Canada and Mexico along with our neighboring states can lend a hand if needs be. Good neighbors at every level will be important for the next few years.
