This is one of the more idiotic moves by Trump, and in just one week he's done quite a few idiotic moves.
Trump has had a negative popularity rating for a long time, and it can only go down farther as he continues with his idiocy.

His popularity peaked in early January, at 47.4%. Now it's starting to trend downward as people see that what he promised to do to the country, he's actually doing.
Yes, it's just a week, but he had been trending up since his election, now that is reversing as the idiocy and cruelty of his actions unfolds.
I give him 6 months and he'll be down close to 40%, or even high 30's.

He's punishing the entire nation for electing President Biden in 2020, and what followed. He doesn't care how much damage he does; it's all about revenge and retribution with him.
