Just by running, Trump will cause chaos, which he doesn't actually care about. I think he's just thinking he will avoid any criminal prosecution that might be brought against him. His primary thoughts are about himself - always.

Or, maybe we've seen so much destruction from Trump and MAGA that we know in our bones that anything he does will hurt us all somehow. He's actually killing us, has already killed some of us - ummm, COVID, anyone?
