What we have is a cabal elected by and supported by a cult resulting from propaganda or ignorance

If we are to get through this and find an effective way forward, some of the strategies have to involve the deprogramming of cults.

In another post I mentioned the need for the left to find a strong voice to counter the well funded right wing propaganda.

But hand in hand with that is working to understand how this cult formed, and how to start to break it down. I am sure some of that breakdown will happen when the cult realized they have fucked around - they will soon find out.

That won't be enough. Whether it is racism, misogyny, cultural aspects or other things, some of this stuff is so deeply ingrained that it will take time and patience - and persistence - to deal with.

In truth, in many cases we are not seeing something new. It has always been there. But now it is being allowed to surface and flourish again by the immoral convicted felon in the golden toilet seat.
