Thoughts on Changing Tactics

Side note: I'm back!

I want to start this post off by saying that I know the path not to take for the betterment of the party. I do NOT know the correct path though. I can only advocate for what I believe will work.

If Gavin Newsom is to run next presidential election, it will be disaster. He does not motivate voters. He cannot win republican votes. He holds no real beliefs of his own he fights for. He shows weakness doing this and it is not appealing to voters. He will cause such a low turn out because he represents the status quo. His reputation among the people is pretty much that he represents everything wrong with the party.

I advocate looking for others and letting players show their hands. If you want to win, if you want votes, we need a narrative. We need to aura farm. For the love of all that is holy, stop preaching for taking the high ground. We need people willing to fight in the muck for what they believe in and do it with honor.

I say this after carefully watching everything fall down around me. I've followed every local election. I've followed all the news, I hear the major complaints about the party. We can fix this, but man, is there work to do.

I know this may sound wild or controversial on here, but I felt the need to shout out to people who might ACTUALLY be able to get these opinions to people in the party who listen.

Get the young Dems... the firebrands...

to counter every move / talking point / decision made by those other guys... Loudly... Visibly...

Take apart Project 2025 + the Krasnov administration's policies + executive orders -- point by point...
Show their flawed reasoning side by side: They said -- We say...

Document their failures (+ there are plenty) -- Remind them what the Constitution says... What great leaders like
Obama said... what MLK + John Lewis + others have said... Drive home where we have won...

Remind folks what Democracy looks like... can look like... will look like -- if we work together to win...

Time to stop being the Pathetic Pity Party -- Be the party worth joining + working with...

Young people are attracted by progressive and even revolutionary ideas. Think back, people. We all did.

You're as old as you think.

The youngest minds in the Democratic Party (or not in it) are Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. They are attracting young and old. Compromise and string-pulling by the rich got us into this mess.

A "Revolutionary" Democratic Party will get us out of it and propel us to a free and prosperous future, rather than a return to a nazi state and death camps.

And nothing else.

Now go home and get your shine box.

Don't get me wrong, I'll vote for any Democrat the party puts in front of me, but I don't think he would appeal to the Republicans who are looking for a viable alternative to Trump's madness. He's got great meme's and all, but little substance that the conservative set can sink their teeth into.

I don't want to endure another four years of this misery because the Democrats couldn't find a good candidate.

Now....Mark Kelly? Let's talk!
