The Democrats should have a strategy to go on the offensive.

But, it should not be to attack Trump directly, in my opinion.

We need someone to monitor his lies and his political message. At the moment, when he wants to get a message to "his" people, he goes on Sean Hannity and FOX News.

Democrats need a network or a program that monitors FOX Propaganda. More people need to see what they are saying and doing, not less. There are sub-networks that mirror the FOX message but there is no one that defines it or interprets it for the people.

In my opinion, this is something the Democratic Party could do.

It will have to be the people, many people, many many people. Because we have a representative democracy or republic, or whatever it is called, we have a habit of relying on the representatives. They are just politicians. Just talk, no action. It must be the people.

It must be the people who say NO.

To whom?

The fascist power coalition consists of (1) fascist organizers, (2) fascist followers, (3) fascist funders and oligarchs, (4) true believers, and (5) thugs. Which ones are vulnerable and in what way?

That's all I've got right now.

Gavin went to the tarmac and confronted Trump face to face and video shows that Trump backed the fuck down. Trump didn't have the guts to call Gavin "New-Scum" to his face.

I agree about the Democratic party not organizing though.

He will soon be emailing and texting everyone directly with propaganda. Children will be indoctrinated in the schools they now control. We will be reduced to posting flyers on poles because putting them in a mailbox will be a federal offense.

Or maybe I'm being too pessimistic.

When Obama became President, the Republicans agreed to give him absolutely nothing to deny him a second term.
The Republicans control the media today so don't count on Trump or Whatever losing in 2028.

Presidents Biden, Obama, Clinton and Secretary Clinton, will you lead the way?
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100219900398

Short: Be a permanent, visible and vocal presence.
We average folks can't overwhelm bot-ridden and bought media.

And future leaders are "necessarily" involved in primaries, busy fighting each other.

The aforementioned leaders can be that presence, above primary disputes.

Naturally, money taints everything, but should not taint the message our top leaders deliver (well, the best they can)

Or, alter the primary process. There is no "law" that I know of that says how nominees are chosen.
Only tradition, and tradition makes for nice Christmas celebrations. In hell.

If anything the constant anti-Trump drumbeat only made him stronger.

Trump ain't running in 2028, we shouldn't develop a future strategy based on Trump.

Focus on selling a product people WANT to buy.

That means better candidates and proposals.

Democrats do "play" offense, but the messages explaining the Biden administration accomplishments are ineffective at reaching the people who voted for Trump. The Fox Network propaganda machine is better at evoking rage and that motivates many people more than optimistic messages. People love hype, conflict, scandal and sensationalism. It's a very difficult problem because we don't want to lower our standards to the standards of Trump, Fox Network and the Republicans.
