But our messaging and communicating our message sucks.

David is excellent in this space and that's what we need.

4. I certainly agree, David speaks so well so we could really use him in the DNC, that would be a great start for him.

And he knows and appeals to young people and we could use a lot more of them, too.

6. The DNC would be insane to reject him

It's not just that he young and can talk to young voters, but that he can effectively tell a story cuz his father's Parkinson's about how the struggles we race are personal and paramount to him.

I worry, though, that the 400 people who vote are going to make a "safe," establishment type.

So he already has experience and young fans who already look up to him, exactly what we need.

9. Fact from Rosenberg: there are 450 in the DNC leadership -- didn't know that.

Hogg on youth oriented politics...

-- In this cycle, the youth vote -- Millennials & Hispanics -- shockingly left at a 20 point shift because they saw the party not listening. As the party thinks right now, there is no pathway to winning with that shift; there is no way of consulting our way out of this shift;
-- yet there is no one at DNC meetings under the age of 18-29 year olds, voters who were in h.s. during covid;
-- we need to listen to youth on the ground more than to party consultants;
-- the party has to work harder to live by the New Deal;
-- the party must deal with the Big Five: expanding costs of childcare, elder care, college tuition, housing, healthcare

There will be no future of the Democratic Party, there will not be a Blue Wall if it doesn't deal with the Big Five and costs of public and higher education in general.

12. Hogg could have stopped when he said Marketing was the biggest issue

Everything he cited later in his answers was done by Biden and his administration.

But not enough people knew about it. Dems should have been out banging the drum multiple times a day talking about, and more importantly, showcasing and bragging about what was being and had been done. Dem spokesmen and cabinet members should have been regulars on FoxNews getting the information out to those viewers. They could've learned the Gish Gallop and just talked over the interviewers getting their points across.
