Yesterday, Vice President Biden traveled to Florida where he delivered remarks on his vision for older Americans and encouraged Floridians to make a plan to vote. Bidens visit to Broward County stood in stark contrast to Trumps mostly unmasked and irresponsible rally in Sanford, Florida earlier this week. You can watch full remarks of Pembroke Pines and Miramar.
Yesterday, the first day of early voting in Texas, Jill Biden traveled to El Paso, Dallas, and Houston to encourage voters to cast their ballots for the Biden-Harris ticket by voting early in their communities.
HBCU Times published Kamala Harriss op-ed on the Biden-Harris pledge to HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and MSIs (Minority-Serving Institutions) in its fall issue. As a graduate of Howard University, Senator Harris writes that every signal that we students received at Howard told us that we could be anything. We could come as we were and leave as the people we aspired to be."
Biden for President launched Looks Out, a seniors-targeted ad featuring a testimonial from Mike Miller, a Michigan steelworker, about the importance of protecting Social Security.

Texas Republicans' last-minute challenge to drive-thru voting in Harris County dismissed by appeals
This was a bogus lawsuit https://www.texastribune.org/2020/10/13/texas-republicans-voting-harris-county/amp/?__twitter_impression=true&fbclid=IwAR3ceB0waQLfb9gQjtu7YnlMJIsXjEyNtlVQBYSxKrDXGUTZIyi8fF_rA_g
The appellate judges said the party and a voter who filed the suit did so too late, and did not show how they specifically might be injured by the voting practices. The lawsuit was filed just hours before early voting polls opened and more than a month after the Harris County Clerk announced his plan for drive-thru voting.
"The election is currently in progress and the relators delayed filing this mandamus until over a month after learning of the actions of the Harris County Clerks Office," the panel of three judges on Texas' 14th Court of Appeals wrote in their ruling dismissing the case.

Yesterday, Joe Biden traveled to Ohio to talk about the economic pain working families across the state have felt as a result of President Trumps broken promises to workers from the closure of GMs Lordstown plant to Trumps threats to thousands of Ohio jobs by calling for a Goodyear boycott and discussed his Build Back Better plan that will create millions of good-paying manufacturing jobs and revitalize the American auto industry. You can watch his full remarks in Toledo HERE and in Cincinnati HERE.

trump wants to have events every day between now and the election. trump's staff is worried about trump being able to keep this schedule

COVID can last for months and trump could only speak for 18 minutes on Saturday. Relapses are common https://www.vox.com/2020/6/4/21274727/covid-19-symptoms-timeline-nausea-relapse-long-term-effects See also https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2020/10/06/fauci-warns-trump-relapse-president-downplays-coronavirus-death-toll/3634631001/
A White House-themed online gift shop may be offering $100 "Trump Beat COVID" commemorative coins too soon. The danger window can easily stretch to 10 days, said Mangala Narasimhan, an intensive care physician in New Hyde Park, New York.
"Saying that he beat COVID now is extremely premature, especially for someone his age," Narasimhan told USA TODAY on Tuesday. "He is not out of the woods yet.
Is it bad form to start a pool on when trump will either have to go back to Walter Reed or take time off the road? I personally believe that it is only a matter ot time before there is a relapse. Is it inappropriate to start a pool on this?
I will take Friday, October 16
