Miles Archer's JournalMaybe Trump's F*CKING "Let's REWARD the Ashli Babbits" $1.7 billion slush fund was the endgame all along.
MUCH OF WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING in 2026 has been orchestrated to KEEP YOU FROM DEMANDING THE RELEASE OF THE EPSTEIN FILES.
MAYBE Trump knew all along that squeezing $10 billion from taxpayers wasn't gonna fly.
And with his "$1.7B 'Truth and Justice' fund," HE can decide who was "hurt" the most...STARTING WITH HIMSELF.
All of the J6 MAGAts are probably tingling at the prospect of having PRESIDENT TRUMP send them FIVE MILLION DOLLARS, just like the family of Ashli Babbitt.
Maybe he just keeps it all, like the $437 million "war chest" he's sitting on to OSTENSIBLY "help Republicans in the Midterms."
IF HE "SUCCEEDS" IN GETTING THAT MONEY, then EVERY GODDAMNED CAMPAIGN AD from HERE TO NOVEMBER should include footage of the J-6 MAGAts beating the shit out of Capitol cops.
And, for good measure, include a few still photos showing how they PISSED AND SHIT in the halls of Congress, and Congressional offices.
Mike Lee (R-UT) praises party diversity by touting 4 Black House members -- who are all leaving
Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) thought he had a slam dunk. He posted a photo collage of the only four Black Republicans serving in the U.S. House of Representatives and declared, "This is NOT the party of Jim Crow."
Mike Lee posted four faces to prove his party isn't racist. Those four faces will soon be gone.
Reps. Wesley Hunt of Texas, John James of Michigan, Byron Donalds of Florida, and Burgess Owens of Utah are all departing Capitol Hill and the GOP has nobody waiting in the wings to replace them.

I lack the patience to have a conversation with someone who is voting against their own self-interests
The problem with a conversation is that, in its ideal sense, it's about two people with potentially opposing viewpoints having a calm and rational exchange, which may or may not involve one or both having a new perspective at the end.
FOLKS...I am assuming some of you feel the same way...I have decided that my life is TOO SHORT to spend it listening to people "explain" why they voted for Trump three times, ESPECIALLY WHEN...as in a story I posted a few days ago on DU...they say things like "I voted for him three times, and I made a mistake, but would I vote for him again? I dunno."
And I don't want to run down the list of people who DID clearly vote against their own self-interests because I don't want to violate the "no bigotry or insensitivity" rule.
So imagine a MOUSE. A cute, adorable little whiskered dickens, living in your house. And outside of the hole that he uses for his front door is a big sign, "MICE FOR HOUSE CATS."
Because really, he's a mouse, and the house cat would only protect him and never even think of hurting, or eating him...right?
The more Trump hurts his voters, the more they're speaking out and saying they "might have" made a mistake, and when asked if they'd do it all over again, far to many of them are saying "I don't know" or "maybe."
So I don't have the answers for the midterms. There are two options:
1). Full steam ahead, under the assumption that we either can't reason with Trump voters, or that if we do, we have to spend countless hours hugging them and telling them that we understand them, or
2). We just decide to become full-time counselors, and we let them vent, and we sit and patiently listen to all of the reasons why they felt that Trump was Jesus Christ, returned to earth to walk among us again in human form.
Maybe there's a middle ground in there somewhere. If there is, I haven't seen it.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security posted a Bible verse Sunday afternoon as thousands gathered on the National Mall for an evangelical-style worship service called "Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving" and endorsed by President Donald Trump.
DHS posted the following on its X account: 'But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.' 2 Peter 3:18. May our nation continue to be guided by the light of our Savior."
"I see your 2 Peter 3:18 and raise you one Article VI Clause 3 Part 2: '... no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States,'" challenged Georgetown law professor Matt Blaze.
"When a federal agency tasked with protecting all Americans decides to mandate a specific religious worldview, it ceases to protect democracy and begins to threaten it," warned Andrew Weinstein, a former public delegate to the United Nations.

Senate Parliamentarian Cruelly & Heartlessly Prevents 79 Y.O. Rapin' Grampy From Holding His Balls On W.H. Grounds

Senate Parliamentarian Rules Against Trump Ballroom Funding

Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), the top Democrat on the Senate Budget Committee, announced the parliamentarian's decision in a press release. (The parliamentarian doesn't make public statements.)
"A project as complex and large in scale as Trumps proposed ballroom necessarily involves the coordination of many government agencies which span the jurisdiction of many Senate committees," the release said. The parliamentarian said the the ballroom provision inappropriately funds activities outside the jurisdiction of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which wrote the proposal, Merkley's office said.
The parliamentarian's ruling is a setback for Trump and Republicans, but they can rewrite the provision and try again before they vote on the bill next week.
While we expect Republicans to change this bill to appease Trump, Democrats are prepared to challenge any change to this bill," Merkley said in a press release. "We cannot let Republicans waste our national treasure on a mission of chaos and corruption while turning a blind eye to the needs of the American people.
The media's being UNFAIR to MTV Real World GOP Lumberjack D*cheb*g's I love America almost as much as Trump road trip
Former transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg ripped into Sean Duffys indulgent plan to star in a reality TV series, calling it an embarrassment to the Trump administration.
Buttigieg, 44, appeared on State of the Union Sunday, and was asked by host Dana Bash about the heated criticisms being thrown between him and his successor online.
Hes making videos about you. He said that the, quote, radical, miserable left hates his road trip because they dont want people to celebrate America. Your response? Bash asked.
I love road trips. I love America, Buttigieg began, before joking of his military service: I actually took a taxpayer-funded road trip lasting about seven months. It was in Afghanistan.

Big In The Caboose Rapture Grampy leaves "Religious" event to play golf and tweet about bombin' the f*ck out of Iran
Trump skipped his own White House-backed event rededicating the nation to God to spend the day at his preferred place of worship: the golf course.
As thousands flocked to the National Mall on Sunday for a Trump-backed rally highlighting the Churchs role in history and civic life in honor of Americas 250th, the presidents motorcade rolled out of the capital towards the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.
Meanwhile, Trump, 79, fired off a decidedly unholy and chilling Truth Social message once again threatening to wipe out Iran.

The Mooch claims Trump is "nauseated by" lackeys tossing his salad. READ "YAKUZA DIARY" for perspective.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BOOK "Yakuza Diary: Doing Time in the Japanese Underworld" by Christopher Seymour. He's an American journalist who lived in Japan and had unprecedented access to the Yakuza for a "gaijin" (foreigner). The reason I'm sharing this in the context of Trump is that the dynamic between the Japanese crime bosses and their young "recruits" mirrors what Scaramucci is claiming in regard to Trump.
They scour the pachinko parlors, looking for kids who clearly have no future. They "groom" them. There's one great passage in which Seymour describes a young "recruit" bringing a whiskey sour to a boss, and waiting for his approval as he takes his first sip. And, in order to keep the kid uncertain and anxious and subservient, the boss shows no reaction whatsoever, so the kid gets no validation, and is constantly seeking the boss' approval, which he'll never receive.
Anyway...I read the Mooch piece and thought of that book. It's pretty sick and insidious, but we ARE dealing with a 79 year old rapist and convicted felon.
"He'll destroy a journalist on camera and then pick up the phone five minutes later. Are we good?"
But the most revealing tell, according to Scaramucci, is what happens when Trump is surrounded by yes-men."When he's sitting at a table and everyone is telling him his invisible clothes are beautiful, he's nauseated by it," Scaramucci wrote. "He comes off the plane and finds someone real and says can you believe how these guys talk to me? With genuine mocking derision."
Scaramucci further pointed to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney as a case study, claiming Trump calls Carney "more than any other Western leader" specifically because Carney refuses to flatter him. "He craves the pushback. He just can't admit it."
