NOT THE ONION. Trump says that Xi's calling the U.S. a declining nation WAS IN REFERENCE TO BIDEN. I sh*t you not.

Trump must have just learned that when Xi Jinping invoked the Thucydides Trap to his face, he was essentially calling the United States a nation in decline.

Now, Trump is trying to spin it, claiming that Xi must have been talking about Biden.

Really humiliating stuff.

MASTER ORATOR TRUMP enthralls the Chinese with enthusiastic tales about Chinese Food & Chinese Railroad Workers.

BREAKING: CRINGE. Dejected, low-energy Trump embarrasses himself with rambles about Chinese restaurants and brings up VERY uncomfortable history in address to Xi Jinping at a state banquet!

Donald Trump and a cabal of tech billionaires flew to China to pay homage to the world’s new reigning superpower, and the president was seriously struggling to find something nice to say about China beyond his usual empty platitudes.

“Chinese workers helped lay the railroad tracks that connected our Atlantic coast to the Pacific!” said Trump, forgetting or possibly not even knowing that these Chinese workers were horrendously mistreated and massacred in pogroms by White Americans, fueled by the same racist anti-immigrant rhetoric that Donald Trump now employs against Latino, Arabic, and African immigrants.

Trump then celebrated how “Chinese restaurants in America today outnumber the five largest fast-food chains in the United States, all combined! That’s a pretty big statement!”

He hit the rare double doozy doodoo with this statement, highlighting the dominance of Chinese culture in American cuisine while also disrespecting the Chinese government, who he feels should be proud that the Americanized corn syrup slop that Americans think of as “Chinese food” but would be barely recognizable to an actual Chinese person is so prominent.

CNN: "Beijing's strict censors are letting the ridicule (of Trump) go viral, which is a statement in and of itself"

"They will look up to us from now on," read another post that Burnett shared. "Trump came to China! We won the tariff war!" read another.

"Trump, you're welcome to visit China and learn from us," the mockery continued.

"The U.S. is no longer a country that we look up to. We can now compete with them with confidence and strength," a Chinese social media user wrote.

"In China, political content like this never goes viral, especially when you have a head of state coming," Burnett explained. "This is because government censors want this to go viral, and by the tone of the messages, the Chinese government feels they've got the upper hand."

Trump says Xi pledged not to provide Iran with military equipment
Alejandra Jaramillo
By Alejandra Jaramillo
President Donald Trump said Thursday that Xi Jinping vowed during Beijing talks to not provide military equipment to Iran.

“He said he’s not going to give them military equipment. That’s a big statement. He said that today,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview clip, adding that Xi “said that strongly.”

However, Trump said Xi also emphasized China’s economic ties to Iran, particularly oil purchases. China buys “a lot of their oil” from Iran, Trump said, adding that Xi told him, “they’d like to keep doing that.”

Trump reiterated that Xi said he would like to see the Strait of Hormuz reopened, recounting the conversation: “He joked, he said, ‘you know, they stopped it, then you stopped them.’” The Chinese leader expressed frustration over reports that Iran was charging tolls for passage through the strait, Trump added.

GILLIBRAND: How did we bomb 22 schools?

COOPER: There's no indication we have

G: So how do you explain publicly available information that 22 schools have been hit and multiple hospitals?

C: There's no way we can corroborate that

G: Have you investigated those claims?

C: We have not

Mention HAS been made of the First Nude skipping the Trump Crime Family & Broligarchs Field Trip To GY-NUH

You'd think that with her pathetic efforts to "brand" herself that she'd be on the Grift Express with Musk and Tim Apple and Gummy Joe and his wife who cannot sing.

Oh well. I don't really care, do U?

Trump "defending" us against imaginary nukes, reminiscent of Evil Dick Cheney's Kerry warning that "we'll get hit again"

“It’s absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we’ll get hit again and we’ll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States,” Cheney told supporters at a town-hall meeting Tuesday.

Why Eric Trump joining his father's trip to China is so tough to defend

By Steve Benen

When Donald Trump arrived in China this week, he brought along a sizable American entourage, including several prominent White House Cabinet secretaries and executives from leading corporate giants.

But the president’s delegation also included his middle son, Eric Trump, who is neither a Cabinet secretary nor an executive from a leading corporate giant. The New York Times reported:

While he is not a member of his father’s administration … Eric Trump does lead the Trump family business. And the company, known as the Trump Organization, has flirted with Chinese business deals over the years, raising the question of whether his presence could blur the lines between government business and private enterprise.

By way of explanation, a spokesperson for the American president’s controversial family business said Eric Trump is in China “in a personal capacity,” adding, “He will not be participating in private meetings, but will instead stand alongside the president to mark this historic occasion.”

In other words, Eric Trump joined his father in Beijing as a member of the president’s family — and that’s it.

Fetterman only Democrat to vote against limiting Trump's war in Iran

Fetterman only Democrat to vote against limiting Trump's war in Iran

https://www.wesa.fm/politics-government/2026-05-14/fetterman-democrat-war-iran

Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska voted against the war for the first time since it began at the end of February. Two other Republicans, Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Rand Paul of Kentucky, also voted against the war, as they had done previously.

The war powers legislation ultimately failed to advance 49-50, with Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania the only Democrat to oppose it,
yet the close tally reflected growing unease with Trump's war. Several other Republican senators have signaled they want Congress to weigh in on the direction of the conflict.

“There will be a day — and it might be soon, I believe — where this Senate will say to the president, ‘Stop this war,'" Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, who has spearheaded his party's tactic of forcing repeated votes on the war, said before the vote.

Even if it passes the Senate, a war powers resolution would have a slim chance of passing the House and would also certainly be vetoed by Trump. But Democrats say the votes are about building political pressure on the president either to withdraw from the conflict or seek congressional authorization to wage the war.
