My avatar is changed for July, sarcoma awareness month. 1/100 cancers are sarcomas, very aggressive cancers which can appear anywere in the body (unlike most cancers which are named for the organ in which they originate). Myxofibrosarcoma, the kind I was disgnosed with in December 2020, impacts 3/200,000 people. Survival is around 50% at 5 years.
